The single most vital ingredient for life!
We can only survive a few minutes without oxygen. Many of us simply do
not obtain sufficient oxygen for optimum health. Oxygen deficiency is
the most common cause of virtually all major degenerative diseases.
Lymphatic stimulation and correct breathing exercises are very effective methods
to help improve your oxygen intake.
Only oxygen is more essential than water in sustaining the life of all organisms. Respiration, digestion, assimilation, metabolism, elimination, waste removal and temperature regulation are bodily functions that can only be accomplished in the presence of water. Water is essential in dissolving and transporting nutrients such as oxygen and mineral salts via the blood, lymph and other bodily fluids. Water also keeps the pressure, acidity and composition of all chemical reactions in equilibrium.
Tea, coffee and alcohol are not to be considered as water! These are
diuretic agents, which force more water out of the body than it takes in
from the drink. In order to sustain human life, the body must maintain
blood pH values to within a vitally narrow range of 7.35 to 7.45.
Drinking highly acidic drinks, such as a glass of cola with a pH value
of only 2.5 (100,000 times more acidic than blood) the body is put under
an enormous amount of pressure and must act quickly to restore the pH
values back to the safe range. When consuming soft drink (with its high
phosphate content), calcium is leached from the bones to serve as a
buffer, leaving them increasingly brittle and subject to breakage.
Denial of the alkaline principle opens the body to all manner of physical decay. When you consume more alkaline forming foods, tissue acid wastes start to mobilise toward the blood stream and lymphatic elimination channels. So whatever was stored in the tissues eg. 38 gallons of soft drink (the national yearly consumption per person), will be dumped into the general circulation for removal.
The countless names attached to illness do not really matter. What does matter is that they all come from the same root cause... too much tissue acid waste in the body!
Unfortunately, waste acids that are not eliminated when they should be
are reabsorbed from the colon into the liver and put back into general
circulation. They are then deposited in the tissue and it is these
tissue residues that determine sickness or health.
Your cells must have balanced nutrition to perform their functions. It is essential that we feed it correctly with all the essential vitamins and minerals, essential and non-essential amino acids and essential fatty acids.
Amino acids are the building blocks of the cells and the servants of the cells. Amino acid chains form proteins. Amino acids are the basic chemical building blocks of life. Proteins are needed by the body to build and repair muscles, bones, organs, glands, connective tissue and hair.
The body continually breaks down dietary protein into individual amino acids. It then reassembles the amino acids and vital structures which link together to form thousands of unique proteins and enzymes.
If the body is deficient in essential amino acids, protein synthesis is
negatively affected and serious health conditions may ensue. There are
many environmental sources that can contribute to a deficiency of amino
acids. These include pollution, chemicals added to processed foods,
hormones and drugs injected into meat products, agricultural pesticides,
smoking and the consumption of refined sugar, alcohol and drugs.
Cleanse the Colon
Candida albicans is one of the yeast families and normally lives in the body, especially the intestine and other parts of the digestive tract. Yeast is a single cell fungus, which belong to the vegetable kingdom and like their "cousins" the moulds, live all around us.
When over-grown in the bowel, Candida Albicans causes the disease known as Gastrointestinal candidiasis. More often than not, this over growth of candida is due to an imbalance in the intestinal flora.
If this condition has developed it means that there are not enough good bacteria in the intestine and this deficiency allows the unhealthy yeast to multiply. This imbalance is usually treated with a strict diet and may require reintroduction of healthy bacteria in an attempt to regain a dominance of healthy flora to keep the candida under control.
Anti-fungal drugs may provide temporary relief, although this treatment has the potential for the yeast to migrate away from the drug and the problem may become deeper seated.
If treatment of the intestinal growth problem has been unsuccessful it may be because the breeding ground has been overlooked. It could mean that the toxic accumulation and bowel pockets may be the source of the candida and without a comprehensive cleansing program, relief will be short lived.
Some candida symptoms include; brain fog, difficulty concentrating,
short term memory disturbances, irritability, drowsiness, blurred
vision, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, mood swings, depression, shaky
muscles, frequent sore throats, unexpected crying spells, chest
congestion and palpitation, shortness of breath, chills and low grade
fevers, sweet cravings, constipation, gas, bloating and stomach pain.
When man lived in a simpler, natural manner, his body was engaged in a wide variety of such activities as to render supplementary exercise almost unnecessary. Today, we tend to employ our brains more and employ our muscles less. Thus we become unfit and fat, and wonder why we feel unwell. Raising your heart rate to around 120 beats per minute for around 30 to 40 minutes at least 3 to 4 times a week is essential for optimum health.
A combination of both resistance and aerobic based exercises is
recommended. Resistance training will increase the metabolic rate
through exercising the muscles therefore increasing the rate at which
your body burns fat while at rest. Lymphasising from 5 up to 20 minutes
per day also pumps around 120 litres of lymphatic fluid around the body
and is highly recommended to include as part of your health and fitness
Air, water and food provide the ingredients by which the body can be fuelled and lubricated to perform. Rest and relaxation, as intervals between the periods of performing allow the stage to be cleaned, new scenery to be erected and the players (muscles and nerves) to recuperate, mustering renewed energy for the following act.
To relax is to make loose or slacken. It implies short periods of conscious inactivity.
REST goes even further. It is total relaxation, undertaken in a reclining, comfortable position, permitting sleep. Cellular rebuilding is more effective and efficient when the body is at rest. Avoiding rest at its required time stimulates the body into continued activity, always resulting in a foundation for future disease.
The more intense the activity, the more important the time given to
periods of rest. This is especially important in relation to digestion.
Early Morning Sunlight
All humans need sunlight. The idea of light as an integral part of life and creation has been evident since the beginning of time. It could be said that all energy we take into our bodies is derived from the sun - the suns energy is stored in the plant (through photosynthesis), and in turn, animals and humans eat the plants.
The human body is nourished directly by the stimulation of light or
nourished indirectly by eating foods, drinking fluids, or breathing air
that has been vitalised by the suns light energy.
A Positive Mental Attitude
Laughter produces endorphins, the bodies natural tranquilisers, and consequently heals and improves the immune system. When you fail to cope with stress and develop feelings of hopelessness, helplessness and depression, you produce a great deal of adrenalin and the cortisol hormone in the blood stream. Cortisol is very destructive to the immune system. Deliberately introducing laughter on a daily basis into your life stimulate the positive mental attitudes, which maintain immunity and health.
Quick Tip: Drinking alkaline water can provide many benefits for a healthy life.
